Job Opportunity

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for environmental compliance? We're seeking a highly skilled Manager to join our team in the Environmental Services and Regulation division of the Department of Environment, Science and Innovation.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing units that support the implementation and review of legislation and policy management, setting regulatory standards and compliance frameworks, and educating stakeholders on regulatory approaches.

You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government agencies, industry groups, and community organizations, to develop and implement effective compliance strategies.

We're looking for someone with a strong background in environmental compliance, excellent communication and project management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Queenslanders and contribute to the state's environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage units responsible for implementing and reviewing legislation and policy management
