Environmental Scientist Job Description

Stantec is seeking a talented Environmental Scientist to join our Environment and Geosciences team in QLD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the delivery of projects related to contaminated land, acid sulfate soil, water, and wastewater management.
  • Assist in undertaking field work, including sampling and testing of soils, groundwater, and surface water.
  • Contribute to data analysis and interpretive report preparation.
  • Develop practical and commercial solutions to environmental problems.
  • Collaborate with project staff and work within a team of technical specialists.

About You:

  • Degree in Environmental engineering, Environmental Science, or Chemistry.
  • Passion for learning and problem-solving.
  • Eligible to work in Australia.
  • Currently in final year of degree or 1-2 years of experience.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to work in remote locations.
