Deputy Sales Manager Position

We are seeking an ambitious and driven professional to join our high-performing sales team in Townsville as a Deputy Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a portfolio of existing clients and actively acquiring new business opportunities.
  • Meeting sales targets across television and digital platforms, based in Townsville.
  • Driving revenue growth for the Townsville market through strategic relationship building and negotiation skills.
  • Supporting a high-performance team culture aligned with industry standards and company values.
  • Representing the organization professionally in all internal and external communications.
  • Delivering timely and accurate reporting, including weekly revenue tracking and quarterly forecasting.

The successful candidate will be a confident and experienced sales professional with a strong client-first approach and a passion for delivering results. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, and bring a strategic mindset to relationship building and revenue growth.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proven track record of managing multiple clients and meeting sales targets.
  • Proven experience in negotiating successful outcomes by understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with Sales Force and industry software (desirable).
  • Previous experience in a media sales management role (highly regarded).
