Job Summary

Ausreo is seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Housing Scheduler to join our Scheduling team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating residential housing projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret customer-approved specifications, structural and architectural drawings to ensure accurate scheduling and coordination.
  • Prepare estimates, bar schedules, and detailing diameters, grades, and shapes of bars for production.
  • Accurately take off reinforcing steel and prepare cutting lists (works schedules) for manufacture and delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, production, site personnel, and sales teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Actively promote Ausreo's products and services to customers to generate maximum sales and margins.
Requirements
  • Possess practical and structural knowledge of products and services within the construction and building industry.
  • Extended knowledge of construction sequencing and structural properties and designs.
  • Familiarity with all types of structural drawings for construction, including domestic, residential, and multi-storey.
  • Extended knowledge of mathematics, including trigonometry and geometrical equations.
  • Prior experience within the construction industry, including concreting, steel fixing, construction management, and civil works backgrounds.
  • Customer-oriented and capable of competently liaising with internal staff and customers in a professional and pleasant manner.
  • Ability to work in a team environment that fosters getting the job done.
  • Relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to multitask between different tasks.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised.
