Job Title: Senior Compliance Officer

Job Summary:

Monitor and interpret legislative requirements, ensure policies align with obligations and best practices, provide proactive compliance advice and risk mitigation strategies, and participate in monitoring and assurance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and interpret legislative and regulatory requirements (APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC, ATO)
  • Ensure policies and procedures align with obligations and best practices
  • Support the incident and breach management framework, including registers and reporting
  • Partner with business units to provide proactive compliance advice and risk mitigation strategies
  • Participate in monitoring and assurance activities, including reviews and control testing
  • Prepare internal and external compliance reports (Board and Committees)
  • Oversee complaints management to ensure timely, effective responses
  • Help embed compliance practices into day-to-day operations across the business

Requirements:

5+ years in superannuation with strong knowledge of industry regulations and compliance frameworks, ability to business partner and provide effective oversight across multiple business units, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

RG146 in Superannuation or willingness to obtain.
