This role is an exciting opportunity to work on a cruise ship, providing top-notch medical services to guests.

Job Description

The Medi-Spa Physician will administer cosmetic medical procedures to onboard guests. They must have the clinical knowledge to perform these procedures safely and effectively, and be able to explain all aspects of the products and services to the guests.

The Medi-Spa Physicians are expected to work closely with The Spa Sales Consultant, who will assist them with sales, marketing, and promotional aspects of the position. This team approach will enable the Medi-Spa Physicians to gain a deeper understanding of the spa services and products, allowing them to cross-promote these services to guests more effectively.

The Medi-Spa Physician will review and give final approval for all service/treatment plans organized and booked by The Spa Sales Consultant.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Possess the ability to work independently and actively promote the services to the guests.
  • Work closely with The Spa Sales Consultant.
  • Must have enthusiasm and excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to give an effective presentation as it relates to medi-spa services.
  • Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Must be a team player.

As a Medi-Spa Physician, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing consistent professional medi-spa services and treatments in accordance with OneSpaWorld's medi-spa protocols.
  • Conducting patient follow-up as required.
  • Being flexible with scheduling, supporting the needs of the spa and guest.
  • Properly caring for equipment and using proper amounts of product/supplies to assist with cost control.
  • Following service pricing policy set by OneSpaWorld.
  • Managing medical product and supply inventory.
  • Communicating to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
  • Handling guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
  • Maintaining a positive attitude and contributing toward a quality work environment.
  • Regularly attending, participating in and supporting training and staff meetings for the spa.
  • Assisting in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
  • Training new spa staff in medi-spa services/cross-promotion skills – follow up must be carried out to ensure staff are confident with services and promotions.
