Exciting opportunity for a well-versed procurement professional to join as the Manager, Strategic Procurement. This role plays a key part in delivering procurement advisory services, governance, and support by implementing the Strategic Procurement Framework.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support and guidance on procurement activities including development of procurement strategies and effective implementation of processes.
- Developing strategic sourcing pipelines and category plans using spend analysis to identify and deliver cost reduction and value creating opportunities.
- Assisting with the implementation of strategic ESG initiatives.
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance of procurement activities across the organisation.
- Supporting audits and enhancing existing procurement tools, processes, and procedures.
- Developing and delivering high-quality procurement training sessions and presentations.
About You
This position is perfect for a seasoned procurement professional passionate about working with stakeholders, maximising business value, and enhancing efficiencies.
You will be successful if you have:
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Management, Finance or Law.
- Demonstrated knowledge of sourcing and procurement strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and experience owning a category of spend.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
