The position of Strategic Procurement and Scheduling Expert is a key role within our organization, responsible for managing and expediting projects to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes. This involves collaborating with engineers, designers, operators, and managers to source manufactured goods and parts competitively and supply them on time to maintain efficient production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

">

- Develop procurement lists for projects and production in liaison with project managers and engineers.
- Produce and review material lists in line with project budgets and forecasts.
- Secure new suppliers and subcontractors, engaging with them effectively.
- Collaborate with engineers, negotiate with suppliers, and manage subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
- Maintain procurement schedules and ensure adherence to established procedures.
- Oversee overseas supply chains.

Requirements:

- At least 5 years' experience in procurement and scheduling.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies applicable to construction.
- Background in equipment technology and mechanical & electrical skills.
- Familiarity with Australia & New Zealand legislative, regulatory, and authority standards including WH&S and environment.
- Good knowledge of foreign currency and overseas procurement.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills under pressure.
