At our esteemed organisation, we're currently recruiting for a seasoned leader to spearhead our civil infrastructure projects.

This newly created opportunity is ideal for an experienced Project Manager or an established Operations Manager looking to take on new challenges and drive growth with a forward-thinking business.

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for:

  1. Project Leadership: Lead, manage and execute a variety of civil projects with a strong focus on roadworks and surfacing
  2. Program Management: Manage project programs and schedules to meet delivery targets
  3. Financial Oversight: Oversee budget performance, forecasting and financial control measures
  4. Client Relationships: Manage client relationships, including scope development, pricing and additional works
  5. Contract Administration: Administer contracts and manage variations in line with commercial obligations
  6. Resource Coordination: Oversee the procurement and coordination of plant, equipment and project resources
  7. Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental management systems
  8. Reporting: Provide timely reporting, including end-of-month cost reviews and project updates

To succeed in this role, you'll require:

  • A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in road construction, surfacing and traffic management
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders – including clients, subcontractors, councils and internal teams
  • Strong commercial awareness with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving
