About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect and Digital Transformation Expert to lead our cloud migration journey, championing innovative solutions that drive business growth. As a key stakeholder, you will work closely with account management and project engineering teams to deliver cutting-edge results. Your expertise in hyperscale cloud platforms will be instrumental in developing long-term IT strategies and plans.
A typical day may include:
- Presenting methodologies and workload assessment criteria to guide cloud migration efforts.
- Contributing to building awareness and developing whitepapers on hybrid cloud platforms, driving strategic decisions and partnerships.
- Participating in research and development activities to translate market insights into platform capabilities.
- Providing technical leadership and support to cloud delivery teams, addressing engineering solutions where necessary.
- Developing internal strategies to drive cost savings across people, process, and technology.
- Supporting business development activities as a subject matter expert, augmenting sales efforts.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A proven track record of delivering long-term cloud transformation with commercial and operational results.
- Senior-level experience engaging executive management, leadership roles, and subject matter expertise in multiple key technology domains.
- Experience in operating model transformation, organizational transformation, technology roadmaps, infrastructure capabilities, and desktop services.
- Strong cloud migration delivery experience, preferably in government organizations across one or more hyperscale cloud providers.
- Leadership experience driving successful outcomes for customers.
- Multi-site delivery experience of application and infrastructure services (e.g., Cloud, data centre).
- IT/business consulting experience, particularly in government or financial services.
