As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will contribute to the development of project designs under the guidance of senior professionals. Your primary responsibilities involve working on simple projects or sections of projects, progressing towards responsibility for entire projects.
About This Role- You will use standard engineering techniques to solve complex problems and make informed decisions.
- You will assist senior engineers with analysis, design production, and calculations to ensure project success.
- You will prepare detailed calculations and analysis of building structures to meet industry standards.
- You will assist with the preparation of specifications, fee proposals, reports, and documentation under close supervision.
- You will liaise and coordinate with builders, architects, and services engineers on design issues under senior engineer supervision.
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering is required for this position.
- Graduate membership with Engineers Australia is necessary for this role.
- An understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards is essential for success in this position.
- A minimum of 0-3 years of structural engineering experience is preferred, but not required.
- The ability to apply theoretical engineering principles to practical situations through analysis and interpretation is critical for this role.
