The Role

This role primarily involves evening shifts on a casual basis to provide support to adults affected by family violence. Our service offers information, assessment, brief-intervention, and other trauma-informed responses tailored to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • We assist adults in recovering from family violence through providing information, assessment, counseling, referrals, group work, and other therapeutic interventions.
  • Our team contributes to the development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of programs and group sessions to address the unique needs of adults affected by family violence.
  • We offer information, support, referral, and advice to clients and other service providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Our staff assesses and monitors the ongoing risk and safety needs of adults accessing our service.
  • We identify, develop, provide, or refer to appropriate services required to meet the diverse needs of adults affected by family violence.
Our Team

Our team consists of experienced Family Violence specialists who collaborate with various services across government and non-government sectors. We prioritize ongoing professional development and career advancement opportunities.

Important Details

This is a fixed-term, casual shift worker position requiring flexibility to work as and when needed for a period of twelve months. Working hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
