Transport Operations Manager Job

We are seeking an experienced Transport Operations Manager to oversee the efficient transportation of our products throughout Australia.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage movement to meet operational demands and schedules
  • Coordinate with drivers and dispatchers to ensure timely delivery and pick-up schedules
  • Develop and maintain a safe, positive work environment while aligning with company policies
  • Optimize use of company assets and contractors in a cost-effective manner
  • Manage customer relationships
  • Ensure all legislative requirements are met

About You:

  • Previous experience in transport, logistics, refrigerated freight movements and allocations is essential
  • Knowledge of transport regulations including fatigue management, chain of responsibility, and mass and maintenance under NHVR is required
  • Proficiency in transport systems and MS Office is necessary
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve overall business objectives
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Energetic, passionate, and enthusiastic individual with a focus on system improvement
  • Flexibility to take calls as required on weekends
  • Current Driver's License

Working Conditions:

  • Based at Riverview (Ipswich)
  • Working hours: 4pm to 12am; Monday to Friday
