A Day in the Life:

In this role, you partner with business units to deliver effective and compliant face-to-face and hybrid events.

This involves planning and execution of large-scale internal and external events across multiple regions, including budget management, event communication, and supplier management. This includes internal enterprise events, external customer events such as conventions and exhibitions, and educational events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute customer-facing events from conceptualization to delivery.
  • Implement large-scale conventions, exhibits, and symposia at the enterprise level.
  • Assist in managing internal events, including enterprise-wide conferences and meetings.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to create impactful graphics and digital media for events.
  • Negotiate with and manage external vendors for events.
  • Manage event budgets with business units, ensuring financial reconciliation post-event.
  • Stay up-to-date on new trends in events and exhibits.
  • Create registration pages for events.
  • Maintain high standards of personal presentation and promote a professional image.

  • Perform duties in compliance with environmental, health, and safety-related site rules, policies, or governmental regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in event or convention management.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office suite skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Cvent attendee management advantage but not required.
  • Knowledge of medical industry best practices is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver successful events.
