About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to spearhead our major projects. This pivotal role involves planning, scheduling, and expediting operations to achieve project goals and timeframes.

  • The successful candidate will plan and establish overall delivery objectives, taking into account existing workload, orders, delivery dates, sales, and production forecasts.
  • They will coordinate schedules by communicating with other departments to avoid costly delays, customer dissatisfaction, and complaints.
  • Foresight is key, as the Project Manager will need to forecast project demand to enable the factory to align capacity.
  • A critical aspect of this role is providing interpretations of contracts, organizing or processing correspondence with contracting parties to execute contractual obligations.
  • The incumbent will negotiate program and delivery requirements in line with contractual lead time commitments.
  • Additionally, they will manage contractual variations, surcharges, and pricing movements.
  • This role also involves identifying and investigating growth areas and undertaking specialist projects when required.
  • A monthly project progress report will be produced to keep stakeholders informed.

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position is essential.
