We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our vibrant kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Italian cuisine and a flair for creativity.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a diverse range of Italian-inspired dishes using various kitchen equipment, ensuring impeccable presentation and consistent flavor.

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop seasonal menus and special dishes that showcase our culinary expertise.

• Monitor food quality and portion sizes, upholding the highest standards of taste, freshness, and appearance.

• Train, supervise, and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive kitchen environment.

• Oversee kitchen inventory, assist with ordering supplies, and implement strategies to minimize waste through effective portion control and storage practices.

• Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen at all times.

• Assist in planning and executing special events and catering functions, delivering memorable dining experiences for guests.

Requirements:

• Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.

• Proven experience as a chef for minimum 2 years, with a strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
