Key Responsibilities:

·        Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes using various kitchen equipment, including fryers, grills, and ovens, ensuring impeccable presentation and consistent flavour.

·        Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop seasonal menus and special dishes.

·        Monitor food quality and portion sizes, upholding the highest standards of taste, freshness, and appearance.

·        Train, supervise, and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive kitchen environment.

·        Oversee kitchen inventory, assist with ordering supplies, and implement strategies to minimize waste through effective portion control and storage practices.

·        Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations, always maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

·        Assist in planning and executing special events and catering functions, delivering memorable culinary experiences for guests.

Qualification and Experience:

·        Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.

·        Proven experience as a chef for minimum 2 years.

·        Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

·        Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
