Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes using various kitchen equipment, including fryers, grills, and ovens, ensuring impeccable presentation and consistent flavor.

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop seasonal menus and special dishes.

• Monitor food quality and portion sizes, upholding the highest standards of taste, freshness, and appearance.

• Train, supervise, and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive kitchen environment.

• Oversee kitchen inventory, assist with ordering supplies, and implement strategies to minimize waste through effective portion control and storage practices.

• Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Qualification and Experience

• Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.

• Proven experience as a chef for at least 2 years.

• Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
