About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Professional to join our team at Tomago Aluminium. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our electrical and instrumentation related equipment.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Implement and improve strategies to achieve and maintain quality output, utilizing fault finding and failure analysis tools.
  • Assist in implementing and verifying appropriate modifications to equipment, maintenance or operation techniques.
  • Liaise with area production personnel as required.
  • Participate in reliability and service to production improvement activities.
Selection Criteria:
  • Evidence of Electrical Trade Certificate and Qualified Supervisor's licence.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, plant reliability, and quality outcomes.
  • Previous experience working on overhead cranes, industrial material handling equipment, and variable speed drives is highly regarded.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with PLC systems, specifically Allen Bradley ControlLogix, is highly regarded.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
  • Forklift, EWP, and confined space tickets are viewed favorably.
