Front Office Supervisor Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Front Office Supervisor to join our team at Club Wyndham Mission Beach.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to take on a leadership role and make a real impact on our guests' experiences.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in managing the day-to-day operations of a front office, including greeting and registering guests, providing information about local attractions, and resolving any issues that may arise.

As a Front Office Supervisor, you will also be responsible for building, developing, training, and leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service and promote high levels of guest satisfaction.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a Front Office department at a supervisory level, either as a Team Leader, Shift Supervisor, or Duty Manager (3 years desirable)
  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems, Opera preferred
  • Events experience highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and active listening
  • Detail-focused with an organized approach and ability to multitask
  • Positive attitude, vibrant, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding expectations
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in using a computer and Microsoft Office applications
  • Bookkeeping/finance experience is highly regarded
  • Immaculate presentation and grooming standards
  • Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and school/public holiday periods
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment both as part of a team and autonomously
