Join our client, a leading independent power producer, in the delivery of a portfolio of utility renewables projects. As a Site Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the on-site execution of a renewable wind farm project.
Key Responsibilities:- Construction Oversight: Supervise and manage on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Project Planning and Coordination: Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams, external consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure project milestones are met.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the delivery of a high-standard wind farm project. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues promptly.
- Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Prioritize and enforce a strong safety culture on-site, ensuring all activities adhere to safety protocols and regulations. Monitor and implement environmental management practices to minimize the project's ecological footprint.
- Bachelor's Degree: In Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in the construction and delivery of large-scale projects across Wind, Solar, or Oil & Gas.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of Australian engineering standards, regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Skills: Strong project management skills, including experience with project scheduling software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
