Job Title: Site Project Engineer

Join our team at The Green Recruitment Company as we partner with a leading independent power producer to deliver a portfolio of utility renewables projects.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Project Engineer to oversee and manage the on-site execution of a renewable wind farm project in the region. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Construction Oversight: Supervise and manage on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to optimize construction processes and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams, external consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the delivery of a high-standard wind farm project.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues promptly.
  • Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Prioritize and enforce a strong safety culture on-site, ensuring all activities adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Monitor and implement environmental management practices to minimize the project's ecological footprint.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the construction and delivery of large-scale projects across Wind, Solar, or Oil & Gas.
  • Knowledge of Australian engineering standards, regulations, and environmental requirements.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with project scheduling software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
