Digital Support Professional Role Overview

This critical role acts as a liaison between our digital services and crisis supporters, ensuring seamless support and performance enhancement.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide immediate practice support and feedback to CS's across the network.
  • Lead initial debriefing sessions for CS's following high-risk interactions.
  • Complete emergency interventions and mandatory reporting requirements.
  • Proactively utilize instant messaging technology to guide CS's on duty.
  • Balancing shift coverage with staff breaks, training, and support.
  • Daily staffing management duties.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 100 hours as a Lifeline Digital Services Crisis Supporter (CS), including well-developed crisis support skills.
  • Clear understanding of reflective practice and debrief techniques in crisis support.
  • Ongoing LLA training, including coaching and ISS training.
  • Education in youth work, social work, counseling, or psychology fields (post-accreditation desirable).
  • Ability to acquire current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
