Nurse Leadership Specialist

This role involves taking an extended leadership position in the coordination of nursing and healthcare within and across different care contexts to facilitate optimal health outcomes.
About The RoleYou will provide expert clinical care, leadership, and education in the management of diabetes across various settings. This includes triaging referrals, managing waitlists, and leading multidisciplinary meetings while collaborating with key stakeholders.
As a Credentialled Diabetes Educator (CDE), you will practice independently and interdependently with an extended scope of practice, autonomy, and decision-making, assuming accountability for your own actions and delegation of care to registered nurses, enrolled nurses, and healthcare workers.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you must be a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least three years' experience working in the clinical area of your specified post-graduate qualification.
Demonstrated ability to work within an interdisciplinary team at a senior level is essential. Additionally, you must hold Credentialled Diabetes Educator (CDE) status with the Australian Diabetes Educators Association.
