Structural Integrity Specialist


Job Description:

This role is for an experienced engineer to join a dynamic team for a short-term contract. The focus will be on fixed plant structural integrity inspections and repairs, as well as supporting machine inspection and remediation activities.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the central engineering team to review fixed plant structural integrity reports and perform necessary work to remediate defects.
  • Deliver a project plan detailing resourcing requirements and timelines.
  • Partner with the central balanced machine team to review structural integrity inspection reports, scope required repairs with external vendors, and work with internal teams to schedule remediation works.
  • Oversee the execution of remediation works during plant shutdowns.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or similar.
  • 3+ years of experience in a mining fixed plant environment.
  • Proven track record in delivering brownfields projects.
  • Proficiency with project management tools.
