Customer Service Specialist Role

We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our customer support team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients.

The Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for managing all customer enquiries, actively seeking to understand customers' business requirements, and confidently aligning their needs with a suitable Pacific National service offering.

You will maintain expert knowledge of capacity and asset utilisation for Intermodal customers, manage and create customer bookings, and proactively engage with customers to solicit feedback on process improvement opportunities.

In addition, you will mitigate customer risks by ensuring timely escalation of any unresolved issues and contribute to stakeholder discussions and planning to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all customer enquiries with a solutions-focused mindset
  • Actively seek to understand customers' business requirements and align their needs with a suitable Pacific National service offering
  • Maintain expert knowledge of capacity and asset utilisation for Intermodal customers
  • Manage, create, and maintain all customer bookings
  • Proactively engage with customers to solicit feedback on process improvement opportunities
  • Mitigate customer risks by ensuring timely escalation of any unresolved issues

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have a customer service background, a proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers, and excellent communication skills.

You will be a naturally strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to listen, question, and manage challenging conversations.
