Job Title: Library Operations Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused leader to manage the daily operations of our vibrant library. This exciting role will support our team in providing a welcoming library experience and promoting all that our libraries have to offer.

About the Role

  • To lead and manage the daily operations of our library, ensuring a high-quality service is delivered to customers.
  • Collaborate with our teams to deliver programs and services that engage the community.
  • Promote a welcoming library experience and assist customers with library services and digital needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a dynamic team of librarians and support staff.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in librarianship or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing a team and leading change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary range from $70,725 - $73,583 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience).
  • Permanent full-time 35 hours per week with access to flexitime.
  • 7-day roster including evening and weekend shifts.
