Ag Sales Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our agricultural rental and procurement business. This key role will be responsible for managing a multimillion-dollar inventory, overseeing procurement activities, and driving business efficiency through strong supplier relationships and streamlined sales operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage product management, procurement, sales operations, and administration for an agricultural rental unit.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with seasonal demand and operational goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, delivery schedules, and order processing to ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to support product selection and pricing decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
About You:
  • You must hold a tertiary qualification in Agribusiness, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Have extensive experience in agricultural procurement or sales operations, ideally within large-scale farming.
  • Possess strong knowledge of agricultural inputs, market dynamics, and farming practices.
  • Be proficient in ERP systems and procurement platforms.
  • Excel in communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively across teams, with a willingness to travel to suppliers and customers.
