Job Opportunity: Modern Intranet Consultant

We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Online Consultant to develop and implement a cutting-edge intranet site. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying corporate branding and design standards, delivering a functional Minimum Viable Product (MVP), and implementing an efficient visitor request workflow.

The consultant must possess the ability to work independently, ensuring timely delivery of a complete and well-structured solution with comprehensive documentation and knowledge transfer to internal staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and deploy a SharePoint Online intranet MVP.
  • Apply consistent branding, design, and theming in alignment with corporate guidelines.
  • Configure a visitor request form/workflow using SharePoint lists and Power Automate email alerts.
  • Set up navigation, page layouts, document libraries, and other core intranet features.
  • Configure permissions and governance settings.
  • Provide detailed handover documentation and knowledge transfer/training for staff.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Baseline security clearance is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering SharePoint Online intranet solutions.
  • Strong skills in SharePoint Online configuration, including modern sites, lists, libraries, navigation, and pages.
  • Able to apply branding and theming consistently with corporate design standards.
  • Experience with low-code automation tools (Power Automate, Power Apps) for streamlined workflows.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint governance, permissions, and content structures.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet agreed timeframes.
