ICT Support Technician (Customer Support) Job Description

This position is available for an ICT Support Technician (Customer Support) who will be responsible for providing essential support, education, and guidance in the deployment and maintenance of clients' computer infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to inquiries and provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for PLM, CAM, and CAD software and hardware problems.
  • Provide support to clients for Siemens PLM solutions, ensuring timely resolution of user issues and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Determine software and hardware requirements to provide effective solutions to client issues.
  • Diagnose, identify, and resolve system problems and user-reported issues related to software functionality, data access, and workflows to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Install, download, and configure PLM system infrastructure, including applications like Teamcenter and its integrations, ensuring efficient use of applications and equipment.
  • Develop and conduct user training sessions and create clear technical documentation, such as procedural and operational guides, to support end-users.
  • Liaise with users and senior engineers to resolve complex technical issues, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mechanical Engineering or Information Technology.
  • Minimum X years of demonstrated experience in PLM software support.
Essential Skills:
  • Proven expertise in PLM implementation and support, specifically with Siemens Teamcenter.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software, particularly Solid Edge Portfolio.
  • In-depth knowledge of PLM modules, including Requirement Management and MCAD Integration.
