About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Workplace Relations Specialist.

This role is critical in supporting employees and promoting a positive work environment. You will be responsible for providing expert advice on employment-related matters, interpreting policies, standards, and procedures, and managing cases of employee misconduct or poor performance.

  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employment-related matters.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote a positive work environment and resolve conflicts.
  • Consult with experts to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

This is a newly created role within our organization, and you will have the opportunity to shape the workplace relations function and make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide interpretation, advice, and guidance to managers and employees on employment-related matters.
  2. Manage cases of employee misconduct or poor performance.
  3. Consult with experts to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Industrial Relations or a related field.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage external stakeholders.
