Job Description

We are seeking a specialist Anaesthetist to join our team in Rockhampton, Central Queensland. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to relocate and enjoy the region's superb lifestyle.

  • The successful candidate will provide high-quality anaesthesia services, both clinical and administrative, and work within the bounds of commonly accepted good clinical practice and ANZCA guidelines.
  • They will conduct acute pain service ward rounds, pre-anaesthetic assessment clinics, and anaesthesia for endoscopy, general surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics, gynaecology, urology, ophthalmology, Ear Nose and Throat, dental, and investigative services for patients within CQHHS.
  • Additionally, they will participate in the after-hours and weekend on-call roster for the Department of Anaesthesia.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will be registered as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia and hold a Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College for Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or equivalent qualifications.
