Estimator Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Estimator to join our team at BMD Constructions in Sydney. As a key member of our pre-contract team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional civil infrastructure and urban development bids across Australia and the Asia Pacific region.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including large-scale land development, road infrastructure, and defence contracts. You will collaborate with our pre-contract teams to deliver accurate and competitive estimates that meet our high standards.

Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in the civil construction industry, with a mix of project and estimating experience. First principle estimating skills are essential, as well as experience in developing subcontractor work packages and reviews. Exposure to CATS and Expert Estimation is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

You will be based in our Sydney office and will work closely with our pre-contract teams to deliver outstanding results. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented estimator looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in the civil construction industry
  • First principle estimating skills
  • Experience in developing subcontractor work packages and reviews
  • Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying degree desirable
