Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Community Liaison Expert to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about building strong relationships with communities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and facilitating effective communication between internal stakeholders and the broader community. They will ensure that all project-related activities are carried out in a transparent, compliant, and beneficial manner to both the company and the communities.

This role requires a high level of stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and implementing changes to community policies, programs, and practices. They will also identify stakeholder and community issues and provide innovative mitigation strategies and solutions.

  • Conduct community meetings to address concerns and provide regular updates on project progress.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies and plans tailored to the project.
  • Collaborate with a number of different stakeholders, teams, and external agencies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Communications, Media, and Culture or similar field.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Well-developed MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with experience across a broad range of communications activities - media, websites, publications, marketing, social media, events, etc.
