We are seeking a Senior Media and Communications Advisor to protect and elevate our brand through strategic, compelling storytelling.
In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and delivering impactful media and communications strategies that align with our priorities and objectives. You will oversee day-to-day media operations, manage media enquiries, coordinate spokesperson briefings, and nurture strong relationships with journalists.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets.
Act as media liaison during communications campaigns and handle sensitive communications.
Monitor media coverage and identify reputation risks for escalation and response.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the development of proactive communication plans and leading tactical response efforts during reputational issues.
Participating in the on-call media roster and coordinating responses.
Contributing to crisis response communications and liaising with senior leadership.
