A strategic role is available to provide tailored support and guidance to students at risk of disengaging from education.
The Student Engagement Specialist will work closely with students, teachers, and external agencies to develop and implement individualised plans to enhance student engagement and participation in learning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the school's Guidance Officer to identify and support students at risk of disengagement.
- Providing individualised case management, support, and group-based interventions to maximise student engagement with education and training.
- Linking students with internal and external services to help them overcome barriers to education and training.

This role plays a critical part in supporting students who require additional guidance to succeed. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and external stakeholders.
