Executive Financial Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Financial Director to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial strategy, leadership, and governance.


The successful candidate will be responsible for driving our financial growth, ensuring long-term sustainability, and optimizing commercial performance. They will provide strategic financial leadership, governance oversight, and commercial insight to support our business objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Financial Strategy Development: Develop and implement our financial strategy to support business growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial leadership, advising the CEO and executive team on financial planning, performance, and key business decisions.
  • Financial Planning and Forecasting: Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and performance management, ensuring data-driven decision-making and financial transparency.
  • Financial Operations Management: Manage all financial operations, including treasury, budgeting, capital management, tax, audit, and compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory and governance standards.
  • Commercial Strategy: Drive commercial strategy, including pricing models, profitability analysis, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing robust governance frameworks to safeguard our financial interests.
  • Major Financial Transactions: Lead and oversee major financial transactions, including funding strategies, mergers and acquisitions, and capital investments.
  • Financial Systems and Automation: Enhance financial systems, automation, and reporting processes to improve efficiency and business intelligence capabilities.

Requirements:
  • Executive-Level Experience: Significant executive-level experience in a CFO or senior finance leadership role, ideally within a professional service, legal, or corporate environment.
  • Financial Strategy Expertise: Proven ability to drive financial strategy, business growth, and operational excellence at scale.
  • Financial Planning and Risk Management: Deep expertise in financial planning, risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen with a track record of influencing business strategy and driving profitability.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at board and executive levels.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate financial insights into business action.
  • Professional Qualifications: CPA, CA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualifications preferred.
