We are seeking a skilled technical professional to join our Operations Team.

Job Description

This is a pivotal role embedding the C4 product suite with the customer. As a Field Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, training, and advice on our C4 products.

  • Installing, configuring, and supporting SitaWare in the customer's C4I environments for use in testing, training, exercise, and actual operations.
  • Setting up and testing integrations between SitaWare and coalition systems, sensors, effectors, and communication systems.
  • Conducting technical training of administrators and end users – both in classroom and workshop environments.
  • Collecting feedback from the customer and feeding the learning loop, both internally and to the customer.
  • Keeping up to date with Systematic products to ensure alignment of customer expectations and product roadmaps, maximising value for both customers and products.
  • Participating in testing of beta releases, and C4I software improvement activities.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered within agreed scope and on time.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certifications or training in IT, Electrical Engineering, or similar, or comparable technical military career.
  • Experience delivering presentations, training, and technical support.
  • Knowledge or experience in IT infrastructure and platforms (Windows, Linux Android-based operating systems, Active Directory, database management systems, XMPP chat).
  • Knowledge of Australian Defence terminology, use cases, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to create trust with stakeholders.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with basic scripting (e.g. JavaScript, JSON, and XML) and hardware infrastructure components such as servers.
