The Role:
We're seeking a Community Disability Support Worker to support a client located in Trafalgar. Your work will be centred around supporting daily living tasks, enabling the customer to live an independent and holistic life.
- Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
- Providing support with hygiene and personal care
- Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
- Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
- Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
- Assistance with bowel care
To be successful in this role you will have:
- At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
- NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
- Experience with manual handling or physical disabilities
- A valid Australian Drivers License (minimum P2)
Shifts are available:
- Monday - 9:45am - 1:45pm
- Tuesday - 12pm - 4pm
- Wednesday - 12pm - 4pm
- Thursday - 12pm - 4pm
- Saturday - 9am - 1pm
+ Potential for shifts in the area with other clients
