Project Delivery Lead

We are seeking a seasoned project delivery expert to oversee our Victoria-wide operations, leading a team of 30-35 operators and regularly visiting sites to ensure seamless, efficient, and high-quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, support, and motivate employees and subcontractors to achieve peak performance and productivity.
  • Maintain a positive, high-performing team culture aligned with company values and goals.
  • Ensure projects run smoothly on time, within allocated resources, and meet quality standards.
  • Identify resource and skill gaps, developing strategies to enhance team performance and capabilities.
  • Oversee occupational health and safety, environmental, and industrial relations compliance across all projects.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections, proactively addressing risks and hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Foster strong client, subcontractor, and supplier relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • When required, lead by example, taking an active role in hands-on leadership, including night shifts and weekends.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or operations leadership within the profiling, asphalting, or paving industry.
  • Proven leadership and team coordination experience, with a track record of delivering results and driving growth.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build great relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • Problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
