Insurance Underwriting Specialist, NSW

Your RoleThe primary purpose of this role is to assist in the development and accomplishment of goals established for profit, growth, service and producer relations for all classes of business.
Key Responsibilities:- Achieve your personal premium budget through underwriting excellence.
- Analyse and monitor quality, volume and mix of business for assigned producers, making recommendations for improvement.
- Establish and maintain relationships with producers and insureds, communicating department philosophy and increasing market share.
- Participate in joint travel with members of other underwriting departments and present department presentations to prospective producers.
- At least 3 years of insurance or underwriting experience.
- Working knowledge of financial lines insurance.
- High degree of technical underwriting ability; oral and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
