Senior Construction Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead industrial projects for a well-established builder with 35 years of experience in Melbourne.

  • This role is ideal for someone who thrives on site, takes ownership of project delivery, and is committed to quality craftsmanship.

As a Senior Construction Manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating day-to-day site activities, subcontractors, and safety to ensure projects are delivered on time and to an exceptional standard. You'll work closely with a supportive project team that values communication, collaboration, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage site operations from groundworks through to handover.
  2. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and trades on-site.
  3. Enforce WHS compliance and site safety standards.
  4. Liaise with the Project Manager and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.
  5. Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  6. Monitor timelines, cost control, and quality assurance.

Requirements:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial or industrial projects in Victoria.
  • Strong knowledge of local construction standards, building codes, and OH&S regulations.
  • Trade background or relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using construction management software.
