Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and skilled Contract Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting with procurement, drafting documentation, and managing RFIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the procurement of materials across various projects, including delivery to site.
  • Draft subcontract documentation.
  • Review, develop, and administer trade packages scope of work before calling for tenders.
  • Assess quotes, negotiate, and provide tender price comparisons and recommendations.
  • Respond to on-site requests from site teams.
  • Manage project variations by obtaining trade variations, assessing quoted variations, and preparing head contract variation submissions.
  • Manage client and subcontractor RFIs from site.
  • Head Contract & Subcontract administration.
  • Manage and track project expenditure and prepare monthly reports.
  • Programme management.
  • Determine supply costs from new and existing suppliers.
  • Data entry and general administration.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualified in Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Experience as a Contracts Administrator, ideally in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 environment.
  • Proficiency across MS Suite preferred.
  • Agile thinking and ability to identify opportunities.
  • Confidence and demonstrated capability in negotiation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex issues with clarity and ease.
  • Meticulous eye for detail and outstanding record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work well both autonomously and in team environments with a commitment to organisational success.
