As a Trade Operations Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service and technical maintenance authorisation. Your responsibilities will include managing the end-to-end purchasing process, maintaining company fleet ordering and procurement processes, processing vehicle details upon vehicle delivery, and controlling the Vehicle Disposal function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all client vehicle order specifications and requirements are met in an efficient, timely, and professional manner;">
  • Maintaining company fleet ordering and procurement process;">
  • Managing the end-to-end purchasing process including sourcing of new vehicle pricing;">
  • Processing vehicle details upon vehicle delivery;">
  • Controlling the Vehicle Disposal function including negotiating reserve prices, pre-inspection service of leased vehicles prior to lease end, detailing and arranging the sale and collecting the proceeds;">
  • Managing returned vehicle stock and completing weekly stock reports accounting for 100% of vehicles and reporting on current sales status;">
  • Being an active participant in system development and testing in CMS and MILES;">
  • Assisting in forecasting and reviewing residual values of vehicles available for lease under finance products.">

Requirements:

">
  • Proven operations and customer service ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability, and excellent communication skills;">
  • Specific experience/knowledge of vehicle remarketing, automotive pricing strategies, residual value optimisation or an interest in the automotive industry;">
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels of the business;">
  • Strong background and work experience in Operations, Fleet sales support or remarketing;">
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office Suite with eagerness to learn new skills;">
  • Previous experience in processing facets of Fleet Management Services such as Maintenance Management, Fuel Card, E-Tag, Registration Renewals etc.;">
  • Experience in using MILES and CMS desirable;">
  • 2+ years of experience in the wholesale/retail automotive or Fleet industry.">
