Job Description

The RTO Manager plays a key role in ensuring the effective delivery of nationally recognised training, maintaining compliance with standards and regulations. This involves leading internal audits, reviewing policies and procedures, and coordinating continuous improvement processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure full RTO compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Lead internal audits and reviews, including random checks of delivery, data, and documentation
  • Oversee daily RTO operations, including staff supervision, course coordination, assessment validation, and timetabling
  • Align RTO strategy with organisational goals and contribute to governance reporting
  • Engage with external bodies, manage MOUs, and ensure effective stakeholder communication

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing RTO operations
  • Strong understanding of TAC/ASQA compliance standards
  • Postgraduate qualifications in education or compliance
  • Excellent planning, communication, and staff leadership skills
  • Experience managing data systems (AVETMISS, LMS, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and document management
  • Experience in school-based VET programs or multi-campus delivery
  • Working with Children Check (current)
  • National Police Clearance (current)
