Receivables and Risk Controller Role at B & E Foods

B & E Foods, a leading wholesale company in the food industry, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Receivables and Risk Controller to join our finance team. This role plays a critical part in the efficient management of our receivables and minimizing financial risk within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, credit control, and collections, to ensure timely payments and maintain accurate records.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues to maintain a smooth payment process and minimize financial risks.
  • Monitor customer credit limits, perform credit checks, and analyze creditworthiness to identify potential risks and implement effective risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to resolve any customer disputes or discrepancies and provide necessary documentation to ensure effective communication and timely resolution.
  • Conduct regular analysis of receivable data to identify trends, assess credit risks, and implement appropriate risk management strategies to minimize financial losses.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of any financial issues.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on receivables performance, cash flow, and risk management for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Receivables or Credit Controller in a wholesale or similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
