**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at our Blacktown site. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials, goods, and products to meet business operations and customer demand.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Promote a safe and efficient warehouse environment by promptly processing distribution orders/requests, including pick packing, shipping, and stock management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with WHS standards, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  • Unload containers and collaborate with customers to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange merchandise, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Perform manual handling tasks with care and attention to detail, minimizing the risk of injury or damage.
  • Participate in cycle counts and stock takes as required, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing stock discrepancies.

**Requirements:**

  • Valid Forklift Licence and 2+ years' experience in Counterbalance and High Reach operations.
  • Strong safety mindset and understanding of health and safety requirements, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and customers.
  • Accuracy and methodical work approach, with good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • IT skills and ability to complete paperwork and count stock items efficiently.
  • Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Dangerous Goods Handling, with a commitment to adhering to safety protocols.
  • Flexibility in duties and awareness of customer deliverables and quality impact.
