Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Food Court Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Provide prompt and courteous service to members, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional manner.
    • Ring up sales, collect money, and make change, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Food Preparation
    • Prepare hot food, including pizzas, chicken, and soft pretzels, following department production and cash handling procedures.
    • Steam hot dogs and buns, and slice pizza.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance
    • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including the food court area, self-serve soda pop area, condiment table, and eating area.
    • Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and surfaces, and take out the trash.
  • Inventory Management
    • Pull ingredients and supplies from the warehouse and stock them on shelves, in the cooler, and in the freezer.
    • Stage ingredients for preparation and refill dispensing machines.

Requirements

  • Education and Training
    • High school certificate or higher.
  • Licenses and Certifications
    • Must complete Costco Food Safety Certification.
  • Experience
    • Hospitality or food service experience.
  • Skills
    • Customer service or comparable.
