About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Service Associate to join our team at Next Gen Health & Lifestyle Clubs.

As a Food and Beverage Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our members have an outstanding experience in our cafe.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, taking and preparing orders, making juices, preparing toasties, and serving coffee to our members.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, resilient, positive, and energetic, with a passion for delivering high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Food and Beverage Supervisor in maintaining high standards of customer service and food quality.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to our members, including making juices, preparing toasties, and serving coffee.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to member queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the cafe team to ensure that the cafe is clean and tidy, and that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Process cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a food and beverage role, preferably in a cafe or restaurant environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and members.
  • Basic First Aid/CPR Certificate desirable.
  • Current RSA Certificate.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
