Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food Court Assistant to join our team at Costco Wholesale in Adelaide. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve hot food, including pizzas, chicken, and soft pretzels, to a high standard of quality and presentation.
  • Ring up sales, collect money, and make change, while providing prompt and courteous service to customers.
  • Dispense dessert and drink items, such as frozen yogurt, latte, and smoothie, and clean and sanitize dispensing machines.
  • Maintain the self-serve soda pop area, condiment table, and eating area, including bussing, cleaning, and sanitizing tables, sweeping and mopping floors, and emptying trash.
  • Clean and sanitize machines, work surfaces, floors, pans, utensils, and counters, and take garbage to the trash compactor and operate the compactor.
  • Pull ingredients and supplies from the warehouse, stock large volume ingredients to shelves, cooler, and freezer, and stage ingredients to the preparation area and refill dispensing machines.
Requirements
  • High School certificate or higher.
  • Must complete Costco Food Safety Certification.
  • Experience in hospitality or food service is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
